Fukuoka Aso Volcano & Kurokawa Onsen Full-Day Tour

Description

As the vermillion torii gate of the ancient shrine reflects the morning light, the sulfurous smoke of the active volcano dances with the sea of clouds, and cattle and horses tread through the green waves on the 780,000㎡ grassland – this Aso day trip weaves together "geological wonders + a millennium of sacred sanctuary + hot spring healing" into a poem written to the Earth, waiting for you to unseal it yourself A Quick Look at Four Must-See Scenes [Mount Aso Crater] Listen to the Heartbeat of the Earth Stand on the edge of the world's largest active volcano crater and watch columns of sulfurous smoke erupt from the Earth's core. If you're lucky, you might see the Tiffany-blue volcanic lake. [Kusasenri Ranch] Step into a Hayao Miyazaki Animation Scroll On the boundless volcanic grassland, cattle and horses leisurely graze on grass covered in dew. Take a horse ride and stroll through the grassland (paid experience). [Aso Shrine] A Pilgrimage Through a 2500-Year-Old Sacred Site One of Japan's oldest shrines, the vermillion two-story gate and moss-covered stone steps tell a story of a thousand years. Passing through the two-story gate with carved dragon patterns is said to cut off bad luck. Pay homage to the three main halls, important national cultural properties, and sunlight streams through the cedar forest onto the ema plaques, as if you can hear the whispers of ancient shrine maidens. [Kurokawa Onsen] Soak in the Misty Hot Springs in the Valley A Japanese-style hot spring village hidden in the mountains, with more than 20 traditional inns built along the stream. Hold a "hot spring hopping pass" (paid) to soak in open-air rock baths and cave baths, watch the valley mist and twilight blend together, and fall asleep to the sound of the springs at night, fatigue evaporating along with the steam
