Carlo Goldoni's House ticket in Venice

Description

Step into the home of the great playwright Goldoni, where the exhibition begins at the external staircase, frequently depicted in paintings, drawings, and engravings. It offers a glimpse of the treasures inside! Explore recreations of scenic islands, framed by reproductions of the 18th-century Goldoni Pasquali edition silkscreen prints, with the originals housed in the library on the third floor. Admire works from the Longhi school on the walls, and don't miss the small theater and 18th-century puppets—both a subtle homage to Goldoni’s childhood, which shaped his journey in life. This intimate space reveals the roots of one of Italy’s most beloved playwrights
